JOYCE Barbara T. (Naughton) of West Roxbury, formerly of Spiddal, Co. Galway, Ireland passed gently on Dec. 20, 2013 lovingly surrounded by her devoted family. Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Joyce. Loving mother of Patricia A. Forde and her late husband Patrick C. of Needham, Mary T. and her husband Richard V. Dunphy of West Roxbury, Thomas M. and his wife Patricia A. of West Roxbury, Kevin F. and his wife Lenore A. of Edmond, OK, Karin E. and her husband V. Raia of Punta Gorda, FL. Barbara is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Barbara was the devoted sister of Anne Norton of Needham, Peter and his wife Kathleen of Dedham, Maureen Concannon and her late husband John, Eileen Flaherty and her late husband Thomas, Bridie Greaney and her late husband James, Catherine and her husband Coil Feeney and the late Padraig Naughton of Galway, Ireland. She leaves many special nieces and nephews. Barbara was a proud graduate of the Newton-Wellesley School of Nursing and retired from the Veteran’s Administration (VA) Hospital – Spinal Cord Unit in West Roxbury. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY Monday, Dec. 23rd. at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours are Sunday 3-8 pm.
