Worcester—Mildred C. (Hanson) Nelson, 93, of 59 Acushnet Ave., died Saturday, October 2, 2004, in the Christopher House. Her husband of 48 years, Stanley Nelson, died in 1995.
She leaves a son, Warren E. and Karen O’Neil Nelson of Stow; a daughter, Christine M. Larson of Worcester; 3 grandchildren, Mark E. Larson of Worcester, Warren E. & Terry Nelson, Jr. of Hudson, and Keith S. & Lisa Nelson of Methuen; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Alma O. (Johnson) Hanson. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Oct.7, at All Faiths Cemetery, 7 Island Road. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is directing arrangements.
