Mr. Raymond R. LaFrance, of Westfield and formerly of Taunton, died Sunday, December 15 in the Bay State Medical Center, Springfield following a lengthy illness. He was born 62 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph and Adelinda (Ladouceur) LaFrance. He was educated in Taunton and had been a Westfield resident for the past 21 years. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a truck driver in the Springfield area for many years. He was previously employed by Crown Wire and Cable for a number of years. Raymond was a member of the Teamsters Local 404 in Springfield. He enjoyed motorcycles and auto racing. He was a communicant of the former St. Jacques Church in Taunton.
He leaves: 1 daughter: Raeann Lourenco of Palm Coast, Fla.; 1 granddaughter: Brianna Lourenco of Palm Coast, Fla.; 1 nephew: Chad LaFrance of Berkley, and 1 niece: Corinne LaFrance of Scottsdale, Az. He was also the brother of the late Roland G. LaFrance of Taunton.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
