Obituary

SALEM – Priscilla C. (Walton) Lunn, 88. of Salem, died Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Herrick House in Beverly.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late William and Willetta (Nelson) Walton.

Priscilla had several jobs throughout her life: working at Sylvania and the United Shoe (where she met her first husband, Warren Batchelder), at Webber's Department Store, Dunkin Donuts, in the office at North Shore Pediatrics in Danvers, and later at the Danvers (Ford) Motor Company, for many years until her retirement. She also was a lunch/recess-aide in Salem at the former Sheridan School and later at the Bates School.

She was a volunteer and active member of the First Universalist Church in Salem -- giving her time and talent in working on Bean Supers, Church Fairs, Snack Bars, Food Pantry, Couples Club, and she sang in the Church Choir. She had also been member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Rainbow Girls mother, been a soloist in several choral groups and met her 2nd husband, Paul Lunn at Dane Street Church at a concert. Priscilla along with her sister, Shirley became members of Woman's Friend Society.

She is survived by sons Jeffrey Lunn and Timothy Lunn, and daughters Sharon Nelson, Linda Barocas, Ann Barker, and Brenda Briana, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Eaton and Shirley Broyer; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved companion, Max. She was also the mother of the late Stephen Lunn and sister of the late Sargent Walton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:00pm at the First Universalist Church, 211 Bridge St., Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Arrangements by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
