Geourntas, George, Age 82, of West Roxbury, Dec. 16th, formerly of Kollinas, Arcadia, Greece. George leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife of 53 years, Elaine (Alexandrakis). Loving father of Alex Geourntas and his wife Nancy of Roslindale, Dina Tsinidis and her partner Greg Nims of Fitchburg, MA and Charles Geourntas and his wife Sylvia of Carson, CA. George also leaves his two sisters, Maria Clessas and her husband Christos of West Roxbury and Polixeni Haniotis of Greece. Loving Papou to 6 grandchildren. He will be missed by many friends and family both here and in Greece. Past President, St. John the Baptist Hellenic Orthodox Church and St. Panteleimon Society of Kollinas. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury, Friday, December 20th at 9:30 am. followed by a Funeral Service at St. John the Baptist Hellenic Orthodox Church, 15 Union Park Street, Boston at 11 O’Clock. Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Thursday, December 19th from 5-8pm. Interment Joseph’s Cemetery.
