Rafael A. Delgado, Sr.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest December 16, 2013, Mr. Rafael A. Delgado, Sr., 84, husband of 56 years to Mrs. Josefina “Kuki” Delgado.
Mr. Delgado was a native of Hatillo, Puerto Rico but has lived in Augusta for 42 years. He worked as a Civil Engineer for the US. Navy Atomic Energy Commission and the Department of Energy.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Juan C. Delgado, Rafael A. Delgado, Jr. Mariano J. Delgado (Rachel), Carlos M. Delgado and Alberto J. Delgado; granddaughters: Kateri Hubley (Michael), Katherine E. Delgado and Natalie Marie Delgado; and great grandson: Aidan Michael Hubley.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. Tom Murphy celebrant.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
