Paul E. Greenwood died peacefully at the Stoneham Life Care Center on Monday, December 16. Born in Boston and raised in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (Hicks) Greenwood. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, then worked as a lineman for the railroads.
Paul was the beloved husband of Anna (Palermo) Greenwood with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Paul Greenwood of Malden, Pamela Buckley and her husband Jay of Medford, step-father of Keith Stone of Cape Cod, Paula Antonelli and her partner David of Brockton, Doreen Antonelli (O'Brien) of Somerville. Paul was the loving grandfather of Katie Lanphere and her husband Derek, John Buckley, Paul Buckley, Robert O'Brien, Anna O'Brien, and great grandfather of Aidan, Deryn and Abigail Rose.
A funeral will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, December 21 at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 10 to 11:30am. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
