Obituary

LEICESTER: Richard G. Lindsey, Sr., 79 of Charles St., died Sunday, Dec. 15 at his home.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Joanne B. (Lemieux) Lindsey, a son Andrew P. Lindsey of Leicester, three daughters Wendy M. Carrabba of Blackstone, Katherine M. Lindsey of N.Oxford and Beatrice M. Goguen of Leicester, five grandchildren Michael, Lisa, Christine, Danielle and Sadie, four great grandchildren, nephews Bob & Frank Lipinskie and a niece Misty Clark.

Richard worked at Wright Machine before retiring in 1994, he later worked for Price Chopper in Spencer and Worcester for many years. He served his country with the US Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Cherry Valley American Legion Post 143.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 10 am. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service on Thursday from 9 to 10.am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Mass. Chapt. for Homeless Veterans, 69 Grove St., Worcester, 01605.
