David E. Koreck, 65, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Hosparus Downtown. He was a retired plumber from Union Local # 107 and also retired maintenance from the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Ann (Rowland) Koreck. He is survived by his four daughters, Kimberly Koreck Thompson (Bryan), Jennifer L. Key (Mark), Amy R. Alforah (Khalifa) and Betsy L. Koreck; Ten grandchildren; brother, Matthew Koreck and sister, Janie Schaffner. His funeral service will be 11 am Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Bethany Cemetery; Visitation 11 am to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
