Obituary

George A. Robson Jr, 78, of Manchester died December 14, 2013 at the Catholic Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Malden, MA on January 2, 1935, the son of George A. Robson Sr. and Elizabeth Helen (Handrahan) Robson. He was educated in the Malden school system.
Prior to retirement after earning the rank of Master Sergeant, he served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He also served in the US Army National Guard for many years.
He had also retired from Associated Sleep Products Inc. (ASI).
George was always extremely honored to have served his country through his military service and was a member of the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a Mason. Above all else, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his wife Frances Anne (Horak) Robson, his daughter, Eileen Elizabeth Robson, granddaughter, Michelle Rosenberg of Lowell, MA and brother Arthur Robson, of Maine.
Family members include his children Tammie Tremblay and Kevin Blanchette of Manchester, Georg-Anne Duval and husband Paul Duval Jr. of Manchester, Dawn Kaplan and husband Jake Kaplan of Salem, MA, George Robson III and Krista Robson, Gerald Robson and Regina Robson of Alton, Scott Robson of Manchester; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in St. Marie Church. Burial followed in Old Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond.
