Marie J. (Napolitano) Funari of Sutton, formerly of Natick died on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at St. Vincent’s Hospital of Worcester. She was 76 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was raised in Natick and a graduate of Natick High School. She was a homemaker, a resident of Natick for all but the last two years of her life and a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Natick for over seventy years.
Marie was the devoted wife of George C. Funari of Sutton with whom they shared fifty-five years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Steven F. Funari & his wife Lori, also of Sutton, & Christopher M. Funari of Bellingham & his partner Lori Salem of Ashland. Cherished grandmother of Kate, Samuel, Joshua & Brooke Funari. Caring sister of Michael Napolitano & his wife Diane of Georgetown, Kentucky. Sister-in-law of five and also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Marie loved her family, especially her grandchildren, animals and cooking.
Her visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 16th from 5:00-9:00PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common & again Tuesday Morning, December 17th from 8:00-9:45AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited.
