Reva Mae Tarrant, 72, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Friday, December 13, 2013, at Osceola Healthcare in Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held, 11 AM, Monday, December 16, 2013, at Holt Baptist Church in Irwin County with the Rev. David Biggers and the Rev. Ronald Reese officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3 PM to 5 PM, at the funeral home in Ocilla. Mrs. Tarrant will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Mrs. Tarrant was born September 25, 1941, in Georgia, to the late Bryant Hutcheson and Sallie Mae Lindsey Pettis. She lived in the community all of her life and was a member of Holt Baptist Church. Mrs. Tarrant loved her family dearly.
She is survived by three sons: Bobby Lee & Joyce Tarrant of Ocilla, James J. “Buddy” Tarrant of Abbeville and John & Tina Tarrant of Tifton; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Tarrant and two brothers.
