Roger H. True, 70, of Hampstead, NH, died Thursday December 12, 2013 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born in Hampstead on May 3, 1943, a son of the late Roland and Grace (Welsh) True, and had been a lifelong resident. Roger had been employed as a truck driver for Wickson Trucking. He enjoyed living his dream of following the NASCAR circuit, traveling and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia True of Hampstead; two sons, Timothy True and his wife Laura, and Cory True and his wife Lorrinda; one step daughter, Cassandra Fabian and her husband Bruce; 13 grandchildren, Shaynah, Ryan, Arielle, Amanda, Chloe, Olivia, Courtney, Nicholas, Tyler, Sammi, MacKenzie, Alex, and Bella; three great grandchildren, Joey, Gabe, and Audrey; his brother, Arthur True; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna Zeppa.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Wednesday, December 18th from 2 - 4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service followed at 4:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
