Dora R. Finnerty, 100, of Westport died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was wife of the late Henry J. Finnerty, Sr.
Born in Dover, NH, daughter of the late Moise and Mary H. Millette, she had lived in Westport since 1976. Mrs. Finnerty was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport. She loved working in the yard and enjoyed going for walks.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Patricia F. Gosselin of Westport and Kathleen J. Frates of Acushnet; a daughter-in-law: Lorraine Finnerty of Acushnet; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Henry J. Finnerty, Jr.; mother-in-law of the late Richard J. Frates; grandmother of the late Douglas Finnerty; great grandmother of the late Michael R. Frates; and sister of the late Irene Faber and Leonora Sandbach.
