Dr. John H. “Jack” Riley, Jr., 78, of Tiverton died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at home. He is survived by his caregiver and best friend: Judith I. Crawford of Tiverton.
Born in Fall River, he was son of the late John H. Riley, Sr. and the late Madeline V. (Gadsby) Riley. He was a serviceman in the U.S. Army. Dr. Riley was a member of the NRA. He played the fiddle and loved his bluegrass music.
Survivors also include a son: John H. Riley III and his wife Kathleen of Tiverton; 2 daughters: Joanne D’Amato and her husband Tim of CT and Deborah Ann Lang and her husband David of RI; 6 grandchildren; his former wife: Virginia (Levesque) Riley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Potter Funeral Home at 2:30 P.M.
Memorial visitation will be from 1 – 2:30 prior to the service.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
