Americo Rivera, 84, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Americo was educated in Puerto Rico and came to New York while in his 20's. He has lived in Lawrence for some 40 years. Americo was retired from Malden Mills where he had worked for 20 years.
Members of Americo's family include:
his wife Erma (Rivera) Rivera, daughters: Sarah Scarvaglieri of Salem, NH, Dielma Perez of Lawrence, MA, and Carmen Nunez of Lowell, MA. He is also survived by grandchildren: Mark Martinez, Brenda Martinez, Priscilla Nunez, Omar Nunez, Daniel Pena, Angel Perez, Shylean Perez, Jacqueline Gonzalez and Jessenia Gonzalez, as well as several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services and burial are private. Arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
