Horne, Theodore M. Jr “Ted”., 67 of Marshfield, December 9, 2013. Devoted husband of 43 years to Frances (Saya) Horne of Marshfield. Dear father of Jessica Egelstrom and her husband Eric, Allison Horne, Jacquelyn Horne, and Theodore “Teddy” Horne III, all of Marshfield. Dear Grandfather of Nathan and Reilly Egelstrom. Son of the late Theodore and Martha (O’Meara) Horne. Brother of Jane Cosman and her husband David of Marshfield, and Barbara Carroll and her husband Stephen of Brewster, also survived by a niece Jennifer McKenzie-Cocco and nephews Matthew and Christopher Carroll.
Born in Boston, Ted was raised in Dorchester and moved to the Green Harbor section of Marshfield 40 years ago. He graduated from Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston and attended Burdett College of Accounting. Ted was a Retired Vice President for Keystone Mutual Funds where he was employed for 41 years. He was a Past Commodore of the Green Harbor Yacht Club in Marshfield. Ted was a Polio Survivor and Loved spending time on Martha’s Vineyard with his family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. Rte. 139 Marshfield Friday Dec 13, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm.
Funeral from the funeral home Saturday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church 40 Canal St Marshfield at 10 am.
Interment will be in the Winslow Cemetery Marshfield.
