Raymond T. Fazio, 56 of Salem, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Boston. He was the husband of Cathy A. (Marino) Fazio.
Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of Roberta (Handley) Fazio and the late Raymond Fazio. During the Vietnam War years he served with the Navy. Following his tour of duty he returned to the area and at one time owned his own taxi company. Ray most recently drove for the Community Taxi Co.
In addition to his wife Cathy, and his mother Roberta of Lynn, he is survived by a son Joshua Fazio of Yarmouth, 3 step-daughters, Wendy Mercado of Salem, Cathleen Contreras of Lynn, Chrissy Borrelli of Lynn, a sister, Sandra Young of Maine, two nephews, Kevin and Wayne Young and several grandchildren.
