Mae Chrission Turner, 88, of Tifton died Monday, December 9, 2013, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, in Tift Memorial Gardens. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with burial to follow.
Mrs. Turner was born on January 10, 1925 in Gaffney, South Carolina and was the daughter of Annie Regan Chrisson, deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lum Turner. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Turner is survived by one daughter, Juanita Flakes of Eden; and one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Harrietta Turner of Spruce Pine, North Carolina.
