Maxine E. (Alberts) Hendren, 78, Butlerville, IN, died at Columbus Regional Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born January 9, 1935 in Anderson to Red and Elsie (Yingling) Alberts.
She was a loving wife to Yewell Hendren whom she married January 12, 1951.
She was a homemaker, loved puzzle books, NASCAR and football.
She is survived by her six children: Lucrecia M. Chapman of North Vernon, IN; Wesley (Karen) Hendren of DuPont, IN; Dola (Marshal) Boyd of Butlerville, IN; Billy Hendren of Palacios, TX; Floyd (Sharon) Hendren of Newark, CA and Vester Hendren of Summerville, SC; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents , her husband and two grandsons.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 2 P.M. with Ned Clark officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 PM until 1:30 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
