Jeraline B. Fernandes (92) of Brockton died Dec 7th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late James T. Fernandes.
She was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Flossie Mae (Davis) Shanks. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Brockton. Jeraline loved listening to music, watching nascar racing and the tv show "Jeopardy" also playing scrabble. She loved all sports especially rooting for the NY Yankees.
Survivors include 4 sons James T., Michael A., Timothy V., and Abdul V. Fernandes all of Brockton, 5 daughters, Carmen M. Bradshaw, Kathleen Gurley, Randa R. and Lisa M. Fernandes all of Brockton, Regina A. Fernandes of Mansfield, also mother of the late Wayne H, William E., and Flossie Mae Fernandes. Many, many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren. Brother of Bruce A. Shanks of Brockton.
Following Cremation a Memorial Service will be celebrated in Kingdom Hall, 444 Plain St Brockton Saturday Dec 14th at 1 pm. The Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St in charge of arrangements.
