Melinda R. (Kimmerling) Adams, 55, of Anderson, died December 3, 2013 unexpectedly.
She was born on August 4, 1958 in Anderson, the daughter of Garland L. and Norma Kimmerling. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and was a domestic goddess. She was a member of the Anderson Auxillary Police and enjoyed camping, being outdoors, collecting beanie babies, playing bingo, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her 3 children, Katrina (husband Eric) Courtney, Kimberly Turner and Kory Turner, all of Anderson. 5 Grandchildren: Kaily and Aubrey Mohler, Uriah Bryant, K'Dence Courtney, Moanna Anderson, a sister, Teresa P. Spence of Anderson, a niece, Christine (Xavier) Lyons of Anderson and 6 great nieces and nephews, Xavier Jr, Xander, Xabrial, Erik, Lillianna, and Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Gage Pruitt, and nephew, Michael Powers Jr.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 10 th at Fifth Street United Methodist Church in Anderson. Visiting time with the family will take place one hour prior to the service at the church Any flower donations or donations toward expenses would be appreciated by the family and may be brought to the church.
