Lawrence Daniel Drew of Brockton owner of L. D . Drew Chimney Co. died at his home on Thursday December 5, 2013 at age 79. Beloved husband to the late Catherine Drew for 39 years , Larry grew up in Boston , Mass. Mr. Drew was a very accomplished and respected Chimney Sweep for over 50 years in the New England area.
Affectionately known as Goo-Goo or L. D. he was always there to assist family, friends, neighbors and clients whenever the need arose . Mr Drew is survived by his daughters Kathleen Drew Decker and her husband Karl Decker, Karen Lawler , Colleen Lawler Byrne and her husband John Byrne. He was known as Papa to his grandchildren , Brianna Smith , Shayna Lawler, Meghan and Connor Byrne, and Mathew and Logan Decker. His sister Geraldine Di Marino and his brother in law Teddy Dimarino and their family and his brother Bobby Drew of Boston Mass..
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 at Immaculate Conception church in Stoughton mass. On Tuesday , December 10, 2013. Followed by a receptionin the hall for all friends and family.
