Ruby M. Geeting
January 10, 1918- December 8, 2013

Ruby Fern (May) Geeting, 95, of Anderson, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Community Hospital in Anderson.

She was born on January 10, 1918 in Salamonia, Indiana (Jay County) the daughter of J. Murl and Opal (Smith) May. She graduated from Madison Township High School in 1936 and attended Anderson Business College. On January 28, 1940 she married Robert R. Geeting in Anderson and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1967. She retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1982. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Anderson and active with the Victoria Lang Church Circle. She was a member of the Wapihani Chapter of A.B. W.A., Spoon and Thimble Extension Homemakers Club, Hoosier Model T Club, Geeting Summer Theatre ( now Anderson Mainstage) and a member of UAW Local 662.

She is survived by her three daughters: Janet (husband James) Olive of Anderson, Wanda (husband Thomas) Danner of Graymont, IL, Debra (husband Bruce) Skinner of Anderson; grandchildren; Michelle (Matthew) Chambers, Kenneth Olive, Jennifer (Jason) Johnston, Amanda (Ben) Wiechmann, SSGT USAF Timothy Danner, Angela McConnell, Lisa (Jason) Hinchman, Jonathan (Julie) Skinner, Great Grandchildren: Alexis, Mercedes, and Sydney Chambers, Haley, William, Faith, Nathan, Dakota, and Tyler Wiechmann, Trever Johnston, Makayla McConnell, Courtney, Cody, and Carli Skinner, Brandon and Bryce Riggs, Travis and Trevor Hinchman, a treasured niece, Shirley (Arlyn) Engbrecht of Anderson, a sister in law, Mildred May of Anderson and several nieces, nephews and cousins

Services will be held at 11 Am on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, officiated by Rev. Kaye Casterline. Burial will take place at the Salamonia Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Saturday. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 4-7 PM, and also one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First United Methodist Church.
