Benjamin B. Adriance, 92, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, October 1, 2004 at the Osceola Nursing home in Ocilla.
Mr. Adriance was born July 4, 1912, in Nyack, New York to the late Benjamin and Jean Purdy Adriance. He served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sgt. During WW II in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre of Operations, Central Pacific. Mr. Adriance moved to Fitzgerald in 1980 from Miami Beach, Florida where he was Manager of a Service station for 31 years. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Phillips Adriance in September 18, 1995.
He is survived by many friends.
Mr. Adriance donated his body to medical science at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
