Evans, GA – Entered into rest Friday, December 6, 2013, Mrs. April Cook Wilkerson, 51, wife of Mr. David W. Wilkerson.
Mrs. Wilkerson was born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri but lived in Evans for the past 20 years. She was a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
Family members in addition to her husband include mother: E. Janet Cook; daughter: Emily C. Wilkerson of Evans; son: Jacob C. Wilkerson of Evans; sisters: Carol Poston (Mike) of Grovetown and Leslie K. Posey; brothers: Joseph K. Cook (Angie) of Vacaville, CA and Jeffery L. Cook of Martinez; nieces: Rene Lane, Chelsea Purks, Lori Varner, Audrey Posey and Rebekah Posey; and nephew: Joseph Posey. Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her father Maurice G. Cook.
A memorial service will be held Thursday December 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Charlie Stakely officiating.
