Jose Paulo DaSilva (85) of Brazil and Stoughton died Dec 5th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton. He was the husband of the late Idelma Fernandes.
Mr. DaSilva was born in Victoria St. Antao, Brazil son of the late Severina Rosa DaSilva. Mr. DaSilva was an attorney in the city of Recife-Pe Brazil owning the law office of "J. Paulo, Advogado". He attended law school at the University of Barros Melo in Olinda, Brazil. Paulo also owned along with his family "Maxime" Seafood Restaurant on the shores of Recife-Pe, Brazil since 1938. He also loved to travel world-wide.
He is survived by 2 sons Jose Paulo Fernandes of Stoughton and Luiz Antonio Silva Fernandes of Toronto, Canada, 2 daughters, Ilma Silva Fernandes and Dr. Ila Maria Silva Fernandes both of Brazil, 9 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St Brockton Thurs. Dec 12th at 8 pm. Cremation to follow. Visitation from 4 pm prior to services.
