Obituary

OXFORD-Frederick C. Wadden, 49, of 60 Old Webster Road, died suddenly, Tuesday, September 28th at home. His wife of 27 years, Johannah M. (Daly) Wadden died on September 26th. He leaves a son, Joshua Wadden and a nephew Christopher Daly both at home, a daughter, Christine Lee of Worcester, his mother, Lala B. (North) Wadden of N. Brookfield, a nephew, 4 brothers, Norman Wadden of E. Brookfield, Brian and Michael Wadden both of Spencer and Bruce Wadden of Brookfield, 2 sisters, Patricia Thompson of Brookfield and Shelley Lambert of Oxford, 2 grandchildren, Brooke and Cody Lee, many nephews and nieces. His father Sidney Wadden predeceased him in 1988.

He was born in Worcester and owned and operated F.C. Wadden Excavating Company. Mr. Wadden was a member of St. Roch’s Church and was an Oxford Little League and hockey coach. He was a motorcycle and racecar enthusiast and also enjoyed fishing.

The funeral is Wednesday, October 6th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1154 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Tuesday, October 5th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1 Abbey Lane, Middleboro, MA 02346.
