WEBSTER – Filomena (Puracchio) Kubicki, 86, died Monday, December 2, 2013 in Beaumont Skilled Nursing & Rehab, Westborough, after an illness. Her husband of 43 years, Theodore T. Kubicki, died in 1996.
She leaves a son, Andrew P. Kubicki of Westborough; a brother, James Puracchio and his wife Mary of Southbridge; nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was born and raised in Southbridge, the daughter of Fero and Domenica (DiPietro) Puracchio. She graduated from Mary E. Wells High School in Southbridge in 1945. She moved to Webster after her marriage in 1953.
Mrs. Kubicki was the executive assistance to the wire chief at the telephone company in Southbridge for 10 years. She then devoted her time to being a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica.
The funeral will be held Saturday, December 7, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 8:45 to 9:45 AM Saturday in the funeral home.
