Pauline M. (Dwyer) Delaney, 90, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died on Sunday, Dec. 1st at her residence. She was the beloved wife of 26 years to the late Francis X. Delaney who died in 1979.
Pauline was born and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late Jerimiah and Gladys (Bissonnette) Dwyer. She attended local schools and was a 1940 graduate of Saint Michael’s Academy. She spent many years working as a bookkeeper for LaPointe’s Machine Shop in Hudson until her retirement. She was a member of the former Christ the King Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn E. Delaney of Hudson and her son, Timothy F. Delaney and his wife Joanne of Hudson along with their children Christine, Stephen and Kevin. She was predeceased by her son Michael J. Delaney in 2012 and is survived by Michael’s wife Anne Delaney of West Virginia and Michael’s children, Renee, Nicole and Denise. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Benjamin, Connor and Holden.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 5th at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Joseph’s the Good Provider Church, 57 West Street, (Rt. 62), Berlin. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Thursday, Dec. 5th from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com) prior to the mass.
