NORTH ANDOVER – Claire C. (Sevigny) Fritschy, 93 of North Andover, MA passed Sunday December 1, 2013 at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover, MA with her loving daughter by her side.
Born and educated in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Morin) Sevigny. For more than 30 years she was a seamstress with Robert and Leonard Clothing in Lowell, MA.
Claire was a member of the International Ladies Garment Union. She enjoyed reading, sewing and doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren, attending all of the family celebrations.
The widow of John Fritschy, she is survived by her daughter, Lydia Crabtree and her husband William of North Andover, MA; grandchildren Thomas and Emily Crabtree also of North Andover, MA and several nieces and nephews.
Claire was predeceased by her five sisters, Yvette, Doris, Gertrude, Annette, and Jean and her five brothers, Hector, Leo, Roland, Armand, and Maurice.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Thursday December 5th from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 6th at 10:30a.m. in St. Michael’s Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
