Stephen Hoyceanyls 88,died Tuesday, November 26, in Oakland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Irene (Dugas) Hoyceanyls . Together they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on November 24 of this year.
Mr. Hoyceanyls was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Mikeal and Amelia (Kluchevitch) Hoyceanyls. He was a WWII and Korean War veteran serving in the US Navy. Mr. Hoyceanyls was a foreman for the A. Bonfotti Co. before retiring in 1990.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; Stephen R. Hoyceanyls of Plainville, MA, three daughters; Linda Grondines, Carol Rice and Sharon Fernandes all of Woonsocket, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late John Hoyceanyls.
His funeral with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM in All Saints Church. Burial will follow in ST. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
The family will receive guests in the rear of the church beginning at 9:40AM.
