North Andover, Ma. - Savinita E. (Erriquez) Abdennour, 86 died Wednesday November 27, 2013 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Savinita was born in Alexandria, Egypt on December 4, 1926, the daughter of Mauro and Anna (Perpich) Erriquez. She was the widow of Elias Abdennour after his passing in March of 1994.
While residing in California, Savinita was an active member of Saint Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Van Nuys. She was also a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Andover for the past year.
While residing in North Andover, she belonged to their Senior Citizen Center. She had a great heart, loved family and friends, was a tremendous cook, and loved knitting on Tuesday mornings at the North Andover Senior Citizens Center and in California at the Northridge Senior Center, she enjoyed dancing with the other members.
Mrs. Abdennour was a loving and caring grandmother and a true gem with everybody.
Survivors include two sons, Alexandre and his wife Christiane of Northridge, CA and Mario E. Abdennour, DMD and his wife Dana of North Andover and three grandchildren, Michelle and Marc Abdennour of Northridge, CA and Danielle Abdennour of North Andover, Ma.
Funeral Services will take place in Van Nuys, California at Saint Michaels Antiochian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood, CA.
