Obituary

Bedford– Robert J. Woitkowski, 78, died November 29, 2013 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on June 28, 1935 the son of Konstanty and Blanche (Zahaba) Woitkowski.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree after attending St. Anselm College and Keene State College.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Air National Guard.
He had been a Biology teacher at Manchester Central High School, a part time Metropolitan Life Insurance Agent, a Deputy Sheriff and Deputy Game Warden.
He held membership in the Polish National Alliance, the NRA , and had been a longtime parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. He especially loved hunting, fishing, gardening and all other outdoor activities.
Family members include his wife, Janet (Egersheim) Woitkowski of Bedford, two sons, Adam J. Woitkowski of Bedford, Daniel Hoffman and his wife, Kelly of Brentwood, three daughters, Kim Levasseur and her husband, Jean of Manchester, Toby Heisey and her husband John, of Rye, Tracey Storch and her husband, Eric of Bedford, seven grandchildren, his nephew, Christian Woitkowski of Bedford, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Matthew D. Woitkowski in 2000, and a brother, Kenneth J. Woitkowski in 2005.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A prayer service will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM in the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Woitkowski Funeral Home.
