Mrs. Margaret V. (Palmer) Judge, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 at the Lawrence General Hospital. She was born on August 13th, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Roy R. and Lillian E. (Hampston) Palmer. Margaret was educated in the A. B. Bruce Elementary School in Lawrence, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, she later attended Lowell Teachers College in Lowell, MA.
Margaret was an attendant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Augustine’s Chapel in Lawrence, MA. She worked as an operator for the Telephone Company in Lawrence, MA. and as a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA. Margaret was a member of the Charismatic Movement and was a communicant of Saint Michael's Church in North Andover and of Saint Augustine's Chapel in Lawrence. She loved to entertain family and friends, and according to her family she was very positive and would always see the nice side of life and the good in people. She loved her family, she especially loved spending time with her Children, Grand Children and Great Grandchildren, and was named the Cruise Director of the Family. She loved to shop and play 45’s card game with friends at Sutton Hill. She would always be the caretaker to other residents at Sutton Hill, making sure everyone was well cared for, even though she was a resident herself. She was a member of the Resident Counsel at Sutton Hill.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the Staff at Sutton Hill Nursing Home for the compassion and the care that they had shown for Margaret and her husband Henry for all the years that they were residents. The family would also like to Thank the Staff at the Lawrence General Hospital for the compassion and kindness they showed the family during Margaret’s stay.

Her daughter: Janet E. Bertolino and her husband Xavier, Jr. of Gloucester, MA.
Grandchildren: Jeffrey, Joni, Jonathan, Korin, Andrea, Xavier, III, and Amanda
Great Grandchildren: Adrian, Alexys, Catherine, Russell, and Jackson.
Sister-in-law: Olive G. Nelson, as well as several nieces.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Augustine’s Chapel in Lawrence, MA.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following the wake at 12:00 noon in the Chapel. Her burial will take place in the Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. Arrangements are under the directions of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
