Beloved husband of Fran (Larsen) Malames. Son of George J. and Mary (Zero) Malames of Quincy. Loving father of Jamie M., Eric J. and Nicholas G. Malames, all of Quincy. Brother of Estella Malames of Quincy and Thomas Malames of Norwell.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM.
Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
George was a graduate of North Quincy High School. He worked for Stop and Shop for 38 years, most recently as an assistant grocery manager. He was an avid cross country and downhill skier and a part time resident of Jackson, NH. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, hiking, traveling and canoeing on the Saco River. He and his wife Fran were former owners of Frannie's Kitchen Restaurant.
