Frances A. Doran, 87, of Karen Ann Drive in Narragansett died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at North Bay Manor in Smithfield. She was the wife of the late John H. Doran. They had been married for 55 years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the only child of William and Frances H. (Heaney) Conlin, she lived in Narragansett for 40 years.
She was the bookkeeper for Carpenters’ Beach for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by her two daughters, Christine Cabral of Cumberland, Beth Tetreault of Chepachet; her grandchildren, John Cabral of Seekonk, MA, James Cabral of North Attleboro, MA, Robert Cabral of Ann Arbor, MI, Amanda Lane of Exeter and Robert Lane of Coventry and her great grandchildren, Emma, Caitlin, Kathryn and Zoe Cabral, Avery and Robert Lane. She was the mother of the late Jean Lane.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9am from ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Monday 8-9am.
