Susan “Suki” L. (Griffin) Allen died Wednesday, September, 29, surrounded by family and friends at the Massachusetts General Hospital, after a long struggle with lung cancer.
Raised in North Reading, Suki graduated N. Reading schools and attended Lesley University, Northeastern University and Fisher Junior College. Known for her warm and welcoming manner, Suki spent her life as an advocate and friend to those in need. She participated in several social action causes and volunteered at Bread of Life in Malden. As a friend of Bill W. she shared her experience, strength and hope to help others.
She was the beloved mother of Christopher Clough of New York City and Danielle Clough and her wife Amy of Florence. She was a loving grandmother to Reesa Altwarg Clough. She was a dear and devoted sister of Rosemary Tregar of Cranston, RI, Patricia Chelius of Fairless Hills, PA. and special aunt to Sam, Mark, Sarah, and Andrew. She also leaves her former husband George H. Clough.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to share in a celebration of Suki’s life on Saturday, October 9 at 12 noon on Revere Beach opposite 383 Revere Beach Boulevard, Revere.
