Mary E. "Peggy" (O'Neill) Tondreau, 61. of Dighton died March 17, 2002 at home after a long illness.
She was the wife of Herbert G. Tondreau,and daughter of the late Edward F. and Emma (LeBlanc) O'Neill.
Mrs. Tondreau was born in New Bedford and lived in Dartmouth most of her life before moving to Dighton 4 years ago. She had wintered for many seasons at Treasure Island, Florida.
She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
Mrs. Tondreau was presently employed at St. Luke's Hospital and previously was the proprietor of a home daycare.
She enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her husband; 3 daughters, Liz Marcotte of Foster, RI, Alicia Leve of East Freetown and Karen Meyer of Dunellen, NJ; a son, Kelly Tondreau of North Dartmouth; a brother, Barry O'Neill of Bangor, ME; a sister, Barbara Winckler of South Portland, ME; 10 grandchildren, 3 granddogs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church Wednesday, March 20th at 10 AM.
Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Tuesday, March 19th from 5-8 PM.
Interment private.
