Timothy P. Allen, age 45, of Mansfield, formerly of Stoughton and Sharon passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Boston, MA on November 14, 1968, he was a loving son of Nancy Allen-Greenblatt-Curry of Long Lane, Missouri and the late Kendal Allen.
Tim grew up in Sharon, was educated in Sharon public schools and attend Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton.
A self employed carpenter, he had made his home in Mansfield for the past two years and had formerly resided in Stoughton and Sharon. When younger, he and his family attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon; where he was also married to his former wife Sharon.
Tim was a loving and caring father to his daughter Samantha, who was the apple of his eye. He enjoyed the great outdoors which included fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed raising chickens and honey bee’s and will always be remembered for his fabulous cooking skills.
In addition to his mother and former wife, he is survived by his precious daughter Samantha T. Allen of Mansfield. He was the dear brother of Christopher Allen of Missouri, Matthew Allen of Mansfield, Patrick Allen of Mansfield and Robert Allen of Missouri. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins,
A memorial service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
Visitation will be held prior to the services on Tuesday morning beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
