Wimsatt, Francis Leon, 66, of Louisville passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013. Leon was a native of Nelson Co. Ky., a U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam, a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, V.F.W. Millcreek Post # 5421 & Kentucky V.F.W. Department Chaplain, American Legion – West Point, KY. He also retired from Laminating Services and had formerly worked for the old L&N/CSX Railroad. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Donna Marie (Bott) Wimsatt; four children, Thomas B. Wimsatt II (Kelli), John C. Wimsatt (Barbara), Tammy Scott (Ernie) & Tina Toba (Mustafa); nine grandchildren & one great grandchild; two sisters, Dixie Willett & Nadine Davenport. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am Monday at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2225 Lower Hunters Trace with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 – 8:00 pm both Saturday & Sunday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
