Obituary

WORCESTER: William T. Hosegood, Jr., 52, of 103 Whitmarsh Ave., died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at UMass Memorial Medical Center- University Campus, after sustaining an injury in a fall at home.
He leaves his wife Linda A. (Lorusso) Hosegood; her children, Douglas R. Rodgers and Erica L. Vanderburgh, both of Worcester; two sisters, Mary B. Perreira and her husband James of Lancaster, Ann M. Tangney and her husband Kevin of Worcester, two brothers, Richard J. Hosegood and his wife Melissa of Barre, Patrick J. Hosegood and his wife Laurie of Spencer; two aunts, Mary McDonagh and Theresa Treacy, both residing in County Galway, Ireland; five nieces and nephews, Jill Marie Perreira and William J. Perreira of Lancaster, Sean L. Tangney and Meaghan E. Tangney of Worcester, and Rachael L. Hosegood of Barre. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late William T. and Nora R. (McDonagh) Hosegood and was a graduate of Worcester Vocational High School.
Bill was a member of the New England Regional Council of Carpenters Local Union #107. He worked on many projects throughout New England including more than 15 years with Francis Harvey & Sons. He enjoyed back yard grilling, spending time with family and friends and visiting York Beach in Maine. Bill always gave of himself in life and continued his selflessness as an organ donor.
CALLING HOURS are 5 to 8 P.M on SATURDAY, NOV. 30 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St. After cremation, a Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. John’s Cemetery will be on a date to be announced.

***MASS ANNOUNCEMENT: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a FUNERAL MASS at 11 A.M. on TUESDAY, DEC. 17 at ST. JOAN OF ARC CHURCH, 570 Lincoln St., followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery.
