MAUREEN C. FITZGERALD, 64, former Oxnard Resident, passed away Sunday November 24th after a brief illness.
Born in Bethesda MD on April 20, 1949 she was a Ventura County resident for 30 years. She was a 1967 Graduate of Santa Clara High School. Maureen was a Teacher for 15 years and taught at Our Lady of Victory in San Fernando Valley.
She leaves a beloved daughter Shelli Fitzgerald of Orange; two sisters Katharine Fitzgerald of Ventura and Ann Marie Schwartz of Arkansas; a brother Michael Fitzgerald. Preceded in death by her father John W. Fitzgerald LCDR USN, her mother Mary Margaret (Gibbs) Fitzgerald and a brother Justin Walter Fitzgerald.
Rosary will be recited at 6PM Sunday Evening December 1, 2013 at the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME 757 E. Main Street Ventura. Liturgy of Christian Burial 10AM Monday December 2, 2013 in Santa Clara Church 323 S. E Street Oxnard. Interment in Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard. Maureen was entrusted to the care of the only family owned funeral home in the City of Ventura, JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME 757 E. Main Street Ventura. where family and friends may visit on Sunday from 5 to 7PM.
