Santo S. Mignosa, age 72 of Medford formerly of Boston´s west end, passed away Wednesday, September 29th following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Gulla) Mignosa. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Dorothy (Biondo) and Constantino Mignosa.
Mr. Mignosa worked for over forty years as an electrical engineer. He enjoyed football and traveling to the cape with his family during the warmer months of the year. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be made in Santo´s memory to the Hallmark Hospice, 100 Hospital Rd. Malden, MA 02148.
Mr. Mignosa is survived by his three daughters, Dorothy Zizzo and her husband Frank, Annette Lister and her husband Jim, Donna Lanzilli and her husband Ken all of Medford. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Frankie, Kerrianne and Tyler Zizzo, Jimmy and Elise Lister, Nicky, Kristi, Brittani and Kayli Lanzilli. He is further survived by his brother Andrew Mignosa of Quincy, sisters, Zina Venezia of Quincy, Susan Risio of Bourne and Beverly Mirick of Braintree.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
