DiNardo, Carmen D. Of Woburn and Bristol, NH, November 22, 2013. Carmen graduated from Woburn High School where he excelled in baseball and football. He was also a graduate of Sanders Electrical School of Boston, and attended Northeastern University. He was a Career employee of Sylvania / GTE Corporation’s where he was a Quality Assurance Manager and Field Projects Manager of several military communications projects. Carmen also served in the US Army Corp of Engineers constructing airports in England during the Korean conflict. During his life, Carmen was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, golfing, and following the Boston professional sports teams. He also enjoyed wintering in Florida after his retirement. Carmen was the beloved husband of Ethel “Essie” (McAllister) DiNardo, Devoted father of Layna Marie Hargreaves and her husband Douglas of Salem, NH, and Kerrie Ann DiNardo of Laconia, NH. Loving grandfather of Nicholas Morrison, Patrick Morrison, Joseph Dudek, Shawn Dudek and his wife Cassandra. Loving great grandfather of Lucy and Zoey Dudek. Brother of Anna Delgaudio of Medford, and the late Jessie Dell Donne and Enrico “Harry” DiNardo. Further survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Tuesday, Nov. 26th at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. It has been requested that memorial contribution be made in Carmen’s Name to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
