Obituary

Lawrence J. Livramento, 59, of Washington, DC died November 19, 2013 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
He was the husband of Ida Denise (Bacon) Livramento.
Born in Cocoli Canal Zone, Panama, the son of Edwin L. and Dorothy (Ramos) Livramento of New Bedford, he lived in Denver, CO for many years before moving to the Washington, DC area.
Mr. Livramento was self-employed as a real estate appraiser for many years.
He was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1971 and was inducted into the Gridiron Hall of Fame in 1992. He attended University of Connecticut.
Larry was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A special thanks to cousin Al "Butch" Ramos for all his care, concern and assistance over the last few weeks.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; 2 brothers, Edwin "Chico" Livramento, Jr. and Michael Livramento, both of New Bedford; 6 sisters, Sandra Grace, Betty Ann Livramento and Donna Roderiques, all of New Bedford, Debra Livramento and Lisa Livramento, both of Maryland and Melody Beedles and her husband VJ of Atlanta, GA; a brother-in-law, James Bacon; 2 sisters-in-law Yolanda Brown and her husband Jarvis and Carita Loyd and her husband Henry; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, November 26th from 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St. West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
