Nancy C. (Crume) Lawrence, 85, of Anderson, IN, died November 17, 2013 at Witham Hospital in Lebanon, IN after an extended illness.
She was born, September 25, 1928 in Windfall, IN, to Joseph and Nancy L. (Hawn) Crume.
She worked production at Delco Remy 30 years before retiring in 1983.
She was a member of UAW Local 662.
She is survived by her son, John W. Lawrence (wife Judy Thompson) of Darlington; two sisters, Kate Marlin of Rensselaer, IN; Maxine Crail of Pflugerville, TX; brother Joe Crume of Tipton; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene "Gene" Lawrence; son, Daniel Lee Lawrence; three siblings, Margaret Maple, Gertrude Hayward, and James Crume.
Service will be 11:00 AM Friday; November 22, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Edsel Joyner of Orestes Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
