Selis English Lewis, age 86, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Lewis was born on February 19, 1927, in Douglas, GA to the late Pearce English and Mae Paulk English.
Survivors include: her husband, Charles Lewis of Douglas, GA, three sons, Danny (Joanne) Lewis, Chris (Margrett) Lewis, and Ronnie (Janice) Lewis all of Douglas, GA, eight grandchildren, Henry Lewis of Douglas, GA, Chase (Kristin) Lewis of Panama City, FL, Ashton Lewis of Panama City, FL, Matt Lewis of Douglas, GA, Morgan Lewis of Douglas, GA, Mindy (Mark) Skipper of Douglas, GA, Ron (Julie Brooke) Lewis of Douglas, GA, and Mitch Lewis of Douglas, GA, two step grandchildren, Erin Morgan and Lane Morgan, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Den Weniger officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Mausoleum.
