O'Neil, Norman E. of Wellesley, formerly of Newburyport, passed away peacefully at home on November 17th.
Norman's childhood was spent in Bedford MA and later in Laconia, NH. He is a graduate of Guilford High School, went on to serve in the US Navy and attended the University of New Hampshire. Norman was the owner of Bikram Yoga Chelmsford and previously of Bikram Yoga Nashua and Aurora Graphics in Portsmouth, NH. Throughout his life on Lake Winnepausauke, Great Bay, and the Merrimack River, Norman was happiest on the water. He was a mentor to many and was known for his leadership, forward thinking, and compassion. He leaves his memory with the extended Bikram Yoga community where has has been a student, teacher and business owner for more than 10 years.
Norman is survived by his beloved fiance, Louise M. Giordani of Wellesley; mother, Hilde Cochrane of Newington NH; sister Maureen O'Neil McKenzie, California; sister Karen Karlstrom of Switzerland, niece Ida Karlstrom and extended Giordani family.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt. 16) Wellesley, Saturday, November 23 from 2-5pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Funeral Service Private.
