Charles A. Drainville 75, of 10 Rhodes Ave., died Monday at St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of the late Anita T. (Sudol) Drainville. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Gedeon and Theresa (Decelles) Drainville. Charlie was a technician for New England Telephone/ Verizon for thirty one years before retiring sixteen years ago. He was a US Army Veteran. Charlie was an avid hockey fan, he enjoyed watching hockey, playing hockey and coaching youth hockey.
Charles is survived by a son, Robert C. Drainville of Upton, MA and a daughter, Lisa P. Osborne of Franklin, MA, a brother, Gedeon Drainville of North Kingstown, two sisters, Jeannette Sutcliffe of Woonsocket, and Lucille Conway of Palm Springs, CA, and seven grandchildren, Evan, Lauren, Hannah, Samantha, Brian, Kristen and Brandi, and a great-granddaughter Cadence.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are Friday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to The Michael J.
